Making a Christmas Wish Come True for a Woman With Cancer

We have a great team at Accessible Homes. Our contractors and sub contractors really care about the community we serve.

In December of 2012 we remodeled a home for a woman with stage four cancer. While our crew was at her home working, they noticed that her deck wasn’t accessible or safe. Within a matter of hours our project manager and sub contractors assembled a crew to come out and build her a new deck that weekend.

These guys volunteered their weekend to work on a deck for someone they hardly knew, without any pay, so that she would have a place to enjoy the outdoors during the last days of her life.

This is what Christmas is about. Thank you to John Schulke of Accessible Homes, Cory Holte of Holte Construction, Kyle Dille of Brown Cow Construction, Jeff Elgeenheen, Stephanie Hendrickson, Andy Rasmussen of Accessible Homes and Lamperts Lumber. You made someone pretty happy this Christmas!
